Herbert Zegibe Obituary
Son of the late Abdoo Zegibe and Stella Slade (Albert) Herbert Zegibe passed away on November 1, 2025. He was 95 years old. Along with his brother George he operated Power Dam until his retirement.
A history buff, he spent winters traveling the world. In 1962 while living and working in Germany, he took a train across Russia. When not traveling he spent winters in Miami and California.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with several dear close friends. He was predeceased by 10 siblings.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St. Sauquoit, NY.

Herb was a great boss and friend! His sense of humor was second to none! As a new lifeguard, I asked if there was a test that he wanted me to take, he told me I needed to swim under water for 100 yards with his mother in tow! He will be missed by many!
