CHARLES 'CHUCK' BEECHER, 83 ROCKFORD - Charles "Chuck" Beecher, 83, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, at home, surrounded by family. Chuck worked at Dubuque (Iowa) Packing House, Greenlees in Rockford, and retired from Pinnons Grocery Store as a butcher. He enjoyed fishing on the Mississippi in Dubuque. Chuck served his country in the U.S. Army and the Korean War. Survived by wife of 33 years, Mary; children, Robert and Lori of Washington state, Theresa of Dubuque, Robert, John (Kris), James and Barbara (Rick), all of Rockford; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; two sisters; and seven brothers. Special thank you to Ernestine Beasley and Molly from VNA Hospice. Service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N.
