Doug Enderle Obituary
Doug Enderle, 52, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 8, 1964, in Rockford, the son of Donald and Jo (Hunt) Enderle. He met the love of his life, Carrie Crave, and the two married on October 12, 1991. He worked at Lowes Distribution Center and was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Doug loved the outdoors, never missing an opportunity to go skiing, boating, kayaking, or hiking. He was the best fisherman in the family! He was an avid Detroit Lions fan. Doug was patient, insightful and had a fun loving sense of humor. Above all else he was a devoted husband, father, brother, son in-law, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Carrie; sons, Ross and Jason Enderle; brothers, Pat (Sherry) Enderle, and Dan (Jackie) Enderle; sisters, Joyce (Steve) Keegan, and Julie (Dave) Cortez; nieces and nephews, Chris (Renee), Tori, Mitch, Sarah, Joey, Marijo, Marie, Megan (Matt), and Matthew; parents-in-law, Mike(Barb) Crave; sister in-law, Wendy (Mark)Alland. Predeceased by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, with visitation from 2 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project appreciated. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com

I knew Doug when I was in building conveyable at Lowes DC for 2 years. He was a great guy,great to talk to and was always there to help if I needed it. RIP My friend,you will be truly missed.

Doug will be very much missed. He was one of the Best Coachs at Lowes that I have worked for. Always very understanding, Kind, and listened if you needed someone to talk to. I had to laugh when he said one time he almost broke a leg or hip when he danced to Michael Jackson's song Beat it because he was so layed back I just couldn't picture him dancing like that. The last thing he said to me was Good Luck as I headed out the Door to watch my Adopted Baby to be born. I said I can't believe I'm going to be a Mom and he just smiled. A very Caring Man. I only knew Doug for a short time at Lowe's. He was a great man for all to see. I am very sorry for your loss. He will be sorely missed.
