Janet Koets Obituary
Janet Sue (Shultis) Koets, 76, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at home with her family by her side. She was born February 17, 1941, in Evanston, IL. Janet was the secretary and co-owner of Orville Quante Septic Service for many years. She remained at home during her illness and in the last several months had wonderful caregivers to help the family. Janet will be greatly missed and remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Janet is survived by her husband of 54 years, Darwin; son, Thad and Danis Koets; daughter, Amy Branham; son-in-law, Todd Branham; grandchildren, Jake and Grace Koets, James and Austin Branham; sister, Peggy (Byron) Olsen; brother, JB (Chelle) Shultis; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Rd., Belvidere, IL 61008, with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. Burial will be in Flora Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018, in Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Janet's name. Jan was a very special friend, I adored her. I am so sorry for the familys loss. I know she will be dearly missed. Jan loved her family, she lived for her family. Jan was a very special Lady!

i was a waitress and waited on jan and darwinn alot...i always warmed her coffee cup before putting her coffee in...jan was such a jewel to me..she was always put together in nice clothes. she was beautiful insid and out!! i will be seeing her again someday...
