Susan Miller Obituary

Susan P Miller, 75, peacefully passed away Saturday May 30th, 2015 in Tucson, AZ. She is survived by her partner Wally Snyder, father of her children Sidney F. Miller, daughter Susan (Terry) Arrington, son Sidney B. Miller, grandson Tanner (Virginia) Arrington, granddaughter Taryn (Ben) Asmus and many nieces and nephews.

Susan was born in Oklahoma City, OK on December 7th, 1939 and grew up in Texico, New Mexico. She moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico in 1961 where she started and raised her family.

Susan attended the University of New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico University. She taught school in Ruidoso for 19 years. During that time she was instrumental in establishing innovative methods of teaching that were adopted by the State Department of Education, including individual reading programs, specialized curriculum, and a team-teaching initiative.

After retiring from her education career, she built a successful career selling real estate for 25 years. She received the Century 21 Hall of Fame Award, which recognized her for being in the top 3% (top 20 agents), in the Century 21 nationwide network. She was also featured in a Century 21 national television marketing campaign.
