Betty Woodbury Obituary
The Rev. Daniel Jordan, pastor of the St. Raphael the Archangel Church in Poultney, officiated. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Castleton. A reception followed at Castleton American Legion Hall .
Bearers were John Woodbury, Clint JR Balch, Jim Woodbury, Tim Balch, George Balch and Steve Woodbury.
Memorial contributions may be made to Castleton First Response, PO Box 727, Castleton, VT 05735.

Woodbury Family,
Within the course of life, one may be fortunate to find a kind spirit, so unique and so wholesome, as Betty Woodbury. No language can be found to provide her justice, except to say she was my valued friend and I am deeply sorrowed by her passing. My condolences to her entire family, as I will continue to celebrate her life within my fondest and cherished memories.

Steve and Terry, I am SO sorry.
I watched you agonize over your moms health and well-being, for a very long time. I saw how happy you were when you made her smile. You are both great and did so much for her. I know you will miss her terribly. My deepest sympathies to you and your family, for you loss.

To Woody " Francis W. Woodbury Jr."' I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and best friend. She loved you dearly, and appreciated all the time you spent up there helping her and your dad when they needed you most. You were always there when she needed you. And to Lorraine, Betty's grand-daughter, she looked forward to those Sunday phone calls, and listening to her great grand-daughters, Giana & Danika in the background. To Dave, Steve, Terry, and their son Stevie, and Joclyn, Betty's other 2 grandchildren, and 1other great son, my sincere condolences to you all. It is a great loss when we lose such a good person, but now she is home with her husband Bill once again.

To the Balch Family and the Woodbury Family, I did not get to know Betty personally, but do feel I know her because of Sean, who told me wonderful stories about this lady; how kind and generous she was. From my mom, who has always lived in Castleton, I have been told that She was a hard worker. Barbara also shared with me some wonderful stories of her sister. So, I do know that this kind and wonderful person is now getting her reward in Heaven with the angels. My sympathy goes out to all of her family.
