Charlie was a nice guy who always had a kind word for me. We exchanged a few loaves of bread and he introduced me to coriander as a tasty spice. Helped me a lot with my stamp collection. Will be a missed person in Rutland.

So Sad to read about Charlie's passing. He was a good person, and our neighbor for many years on Park Ave. I can remember all the "great cooking smells" coming from his side of the house.
Our prayers are for him this day.
Sincerely, Norm and Noreen Duby

Charlie was my first boss at my first real job at Eden Park at 15 years old. He was always kind and taught me so much. He will be missed greatly.

Charles will be missed by many. He and I shared a few recipes, discussed the difference between Cajun and Acadian cooking....he was a kind man with a good heart. Rest in peace, Charles.

Charles was a dear man with a good, good soul. When he was a Benedictine monk at the Weston Priory, his contributions to community were enormous. I will keep this memory fondly. God bless you, Charles.

I was very sad to hear of Charles' passing. He was a good person. Charles and I have been members of the Rutland County Stamp Club for several decades. He was a hard worker and ran our Fair Exhibit for several years. I even named my cat after Charles: Charles Albert la Chat. I used to bring my cat to our stamp club meetings. One evening, even though he wasn't feeling well, Charles came to the meeting to meet the cat who was named after him. We will miss you Charles.
