Cheryl Bryant Obituary

FOREST DALE - Cheryl Ann Bryant, 64, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016, at her home.

She was born April 8, 1952, in New Haven, Connecticut, the daughter of Perlie and Marie (Bohannon) Flood.

She graduated from Otter Valley Union High School, class of 1970.

She worked at Van Raaulte in Middlebury, Tambrands in Rutland and General Electric in Rutland, where she was a machine operator and retired as an inspector in 2009 after 30 years of service.

Mrs. Bryant enjoyed reading and her flower gardens. She belonged to Brandon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a communicant at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Bryant of Forest Dale; a son, Michael Jon Bryant of Mendon; two sisters, Debra LaDuke of Shoreham and Kathleen LaFerriere of Northfield; three brothers, Russell Flood of Columbus, Mississippi, Michael Flood of Rutland and James Flood of Bennington; two grandsons; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Dennis Flood.

Friends may call at Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon, officiated by the Rev. Vincent Onunkwo, and followed by a reception at Brandon American Legion.

Private graveside service will take place at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Brandon Area Rescue Squad, PO Box 232, Brandon, VT 05733; or St. Mary's Catholic Church Building Fund, 38 Carver St., Brandon, VT 05733.
