Michelle Cheney Obituary
She was born in Rutland, Oct. 5, 1972, the daughter of Betty Peer.
Michelle attended Rutland area grammar schools and was a 1991 graduate of Rutland High School.
She was a member of the Rutland High School girls softball team.
Michelle was a painter for Ted Stryhas Construction and was owner and operator of M.C Painting Co.
She enjoyed playing softball in the Rutland Adult League, fishing and camping.
Surviving are her mother, Betty Cheney; her companion, Steven Cary Jr.; two sons, Justin and Joshua Stevens; a daughter, Kayla Lynn Stevens; and a brother, Charles A. Cheney, all of Rutland.
Services are pending, to be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Betty Cheney, 141 Granger St., Rutland, VT 05701.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home.

Michelle you were a wonderful friend to me in high school. I will never forget our softball season together. If it wasn't for you, I may never have stepped on a field.
