Hi Grandma!
I think of you often especially in the summer when I would come and stay with you for a couple of weeks. Also, every time I teach my Kindergarten students how to play the card games WAR or solitaire I think of you, since you taught me how to play those games on the floor of your apartment. I have the most amazing memories of our special times together and I miss you so much.
Love you!!!

There are SO many times I wish I could pick up my phone and call you or have you over or come visit. You were always my rock and I was always so proud of your strengths. You were always so strong. What a great example for all of us.
Love you SO, SO much!

Still missing you tremendously!!! There are so many times we are all together and I remember when you were here with us to share in all the fun. We still "pop a beer (Vincent's words)" and remember how you loved it.
You came from a strong mama, making me a strong mama, then Tina became a strong mama with a strong daughter (Dallas). We were all so lucky to have the Giefer womens' genes so that anything that comes up we've been and are able to deal with it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sorry we haven't been out to visit much lately. We will be there soon, bringing flowers for you and Daddy.
Still loving and missing you SO much,
Pat

Dearest Grandma Aggie,
Its hard to believe it has been a year since you took your journey to heaven. You will be missed dearly. You have touched so many lives in so many wonderful ways. Anthony and Kayleigh still talk about you and all the visits to your home and what fun they were. I remember spending time with you and Jack when I was young. I received my first bee sting while running across the park lawn barefoot. This was of course right after you told me to put my shoes on. Everyone should always listen to their grandmas! These fond memories will never leave me and they comfort me when I'm missing you. Thank you for being the strong, independent woman you are. I think I resemble you in many ways and I'm proud of that.
With loving memories,
LARRY ANDREUCCETTI

The "cool" Grandma as I have always said. My memories of her go way back and will last my lifetime. I hold closest to my heart the great woman she was and am still inspired by her independence. From riding her bike well into her 70's, to cracking a beer at will, her sense of calm remains within. She will always be missed and loved by all she touched. Love you G-Ma; see you in the distant future!

To my Mother and Guardian Angel:
The days, weeks and months have passed by since your departure to the Lord. I find comfort, resolve and strength knowing that we have our own personal guardian angel watching over us. You are remembered daily and continue to provide strength and courage just as you did when you were with us here on earth. I just know in my heart that you are watching over each of your family members just as you watched over us in life. You will never be forgotten.
Your ever loving son,

Grandma: Well, my beautiful Grandma, it's been 1 year since you left us and I miss you so much!!! I miss your fun loving spirit, your quick funnies, your straight forwardness, just all of you!!! I have to ask you, Grandma, was that you the other morning who poked me while I was getting ready? I believe it was you trying to tell me that all will be okay in our lives and that you were okay!!!! Mom's hanging in there but she misses you so, so much, we all do - but she's tries so hard to hang in there. Maybe you could somehow, some way let her know that you are okay and that you miss her as well!!!! I talk to you quite often and I sure hope you hear me!!! Please know that I truly miss you and wish you were still here with us celebrating each other!! But, always remember that you are in my thoughts always and that I LOVE YOU TERRIBLY!! Please rest in peace my beautiful grandma!!! I LOVE YOU ALWAYS. Tina

Hi Grandma Aggie!
Wow, I can't believe a year has gone by already and you have been up in Heaven having that beer with all your family and friends.
I sure do miss you and think about you at least once a week. This time of year I think about you the most with school being out and me having the summer off from teaching all those Kindergarten kids. I used to love my summer vacations with you. You taught me how to play the card game "war" and we always had plain donuts dipped in milk (or coffee for you) and for dinner, hamburgers with cheese melted on top and no bun. Whenever I eat cheeseburgers, I think of you. Also, I really loved when you and Jack would take me to Aunt Pat & Uncle Larry's pool and I would be a fish and stay in the water all day. Such great great memories with you Grandma. Memories that will never be forgotten.
I love you so much and I really wish you were still here to see me as an adult and mom. Jenica and Trinity never really got to know their Great Grandma Aggie but I will continue to tell them stories about you and show them pictures so they will feel like they know all about thier wonderful, loving, caring, smart Great Grandma.
Love you always and forever Grandma Aggie!
Your youngest grandaughter, Michelle

To my wonderful mother:
It's so hard to believe a year has passed already since you went home to the Lord. I miss you every single day.
They finally fixed a new vase in for daddy so now we can leave flowers for both of you when we go to the cemetery. On Mother's Day, Tina and family were there with us to put flowers and say a prayer for you and daddy--we also visited Larry's mom and dad and put some flowers over for them. We remembered all the years of celebrating the special holiday with you and Larry's mom--what wonderful memories we all have from those past days.
I'm going to let them close out the book, but not before sending it out to Tina, Vincent, Shari, and some of your family to see if they want to put something in it. I'm thinking of ordering a copy of it for myself.
Soon, it will be your birthday again--we'll go through our second year without you, which is both a sad and happy occasion. Sad because we all miss you so much and happy because we know you are resting and in a much happier place.
I'm sure you've seen Mary Markham by now. It was another sad time to have lost her. Veronica and her family had a very nice service for her and Msgr. Kavanagh did the ceremony.
We love you so much and miss you very much. Rest in peace my sweet mother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!
I sure wish you were here to celebrate your 96th birthday, but I'm sure you're up there in heaven having a blast with your "mommy and daddy," your siblings who preceded you, Dr. King, and all your other friends. Maybe you and Kay are having a high ball and toasting right now!!
I miss you every single day. I do have to admit, though, that I've been a tad on the busy side and haven't had much time to think about much. Also, my back was out again--UGH!
I guess you were there for Dr. King's memorial service. He was such a special man. Nita missed you. I got to meet Colleen's daughter, Kim. What a nice young woman. I thought all the way home how I'd have liked to come to tell you that she is a Diplomat for the Federal Government. She's also a very pretty girl and very outgoing. Virginia, Connie and I enjoyed a nice visit with her.
I wish you could be here today. Veronica had a Mass said at St. Joseph's in Elk Grove and we are going to that @ 4:30 after a stop by to see you and Daddy.
You should have seen your granddaugter, Dallas in her last recital -- she was wonderful!!! Such great talent she has and we are all hoping she'll continue.
Then there's your grandson Dominic who did his first play last night. WOW, we are all impressed with his acting ability. He sort of stole the show as Papa (Godfather) of the Delchinni Family in a spoofy play of "Cinderella."
Your So Cal grandkids are doing good. We are going to see them in August and spend about four days there. Can't wait to see Luciano and to see Hannah and Jack again. Luciano has been taking swimming lessons this summer--bet he's getting good--he's such a trooper about everything.
Well, Mom, this is kind of a hard day for me, but I'm sure I'll get through it since you raised me to have strength and courage just like you. You'll always be the most special mom in the world as far as I'm concerned.
I love you!!

Dear Pat,
We will always remember the wonderful spirit and calming presense of your mother when she would visit us at Lucio Lane back in the old days. We pray that you will find strength to move through your sadness, and give thanks that your mom touched our lives in such a special way.
Our love and prayers to you and Larry.

Hi Mom:
I sure do miss you a lot already. You were always my mentor, my friend, the wonderful person from who I learned to be strong, the mom who took such great care of me as a youngster, the woman I became friends with as I became an adult, the woman I could go out with for a drink, and the woman who always welcomed all my friends and yours into our home. You are definitely the reason I am who I am today.
I was always so proud to call you MOM. You were always so warm and open with everyone.
I know how hard it was on you when Daddy died in that auto accident in 1959. Here you were, just 47 years old with Chuck having just graduated from high school. It was fortunate that Chuck and I both had jobs and were pretty independent. Daddy had just paid cash for the home we lived in and had just bought a new car, so you weren't too burdened with bills to worry about. And, you had a wonderful job with a great boss (or bosses when Dr. King had partners).
The day of your service was beautiful. So many wonderful friends and family came to say goodbye to you. Did you bring us that gorgeous day with that nice soft, cool breeze? Being under that beautiful tree for the final blessings was absolutely wonderful. How blessed you and Daddy are to have that tree. We always felt so much cooler there when you and I went to place flowers for Daddy and now we'll be doing that for both of you in your beautiful resting place.
Thank you, thank you for the person you were. God blessed Chuck and me with the most wonderful mom in the world. I'll thank Him until the day I die myself.
One day we'll all be together again, and as Vincent said, maybe we can "pop a beer" together. I do hope there's beer there.
I know the last few months and weeks weren't the greatest for you. You tried your hardest to hang in there and you never stopped wanting to keep on the move.
May you rest in peace now, Mom. You'll always be in my heart. Like the piece Ann read said, "She's the place you came from, your first home..." and that's just so very special. Only a mother can know how special that is.
I love you with all my heart!!

Grandma Aggie, I will miss you so much but feel comforted knowing you are at peace now and watching over me and our family. Dear Pat,
I wish I could be there in person to let you know just how much I care and wish to do something more for you and your family. Your Mother was such a blessing to many people and even though I never had the privilege of meeting her in person; it was such a blessing for me to be able to send her cards to let her know that she was loved. She has touched the lives of many across the miles; especially those that have never met her. She will be missed, but I know that I have the promise of God that one day soon we will all be together rejoiceing before the Lord! Please know that you and your family in its' entirety are in my prayers and if there is anything that I can do for you, please let me know.
All my love and prayers,
