Curley was a member of the Southern California Timing Association and Bonneville Nationals, Rancho Cordova Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 2484 since 1984, VFW Post 6158, Rancho Cordova Moose Lodge #2357, Folsom Eagles Aerie #929. Survived by wife JoAnne Potthast, children, Paul R. Potthast, Anna Potthast-Griggs, Thomas M. Layton, Robert W. Layton and Cynthia A. Price. Grand children Paul R. Potthast, Jr., Brandon L. Bloxham, Kenneth A. Layton, Nichole Lee Potthast, Amanda Potthast, Sara Anne Bloxham, Zachary Michael Griggs (deceased), and finally beloved niece, Summer-Nycole Hinshaw. Memorial services to be held at Elks Lodge #2484, 11440 Elks Circle, Rancho Cordova, on Sunday June 22, 2003 at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow.
