Dr. Myres was truly a great teacher and a great leader. He had a vision and a heart, a ready smile, and a great Irish sense of humor.

May he rejoice in heaven with Francis and his loved ones.

He will forever be in my thoughts and heart.

He was always willing to consult with and help me.

He was truly a kind, intelligent, good man.

John was a truly great leader for our Placer Union High School District. As a friend, I miss our conversations and dialogues and humor concerning education and life. I learned so much from Dr. Myres, a true professional and true friend.
