February 6, 1948 - July 11, 2022
Roseville , California - Kathy lived her life full of love for her adoring husband David, her devoted sons, Robert, Michael (Vickie) and John. She was known as grandma Kathy to her grandchildren, Natalie Kathryn , Stephan, Leif, Ashton, and Blake and great grandchildren Igneous and Jasper. Kathy was a best friend and a wonderful role model to her two sisters, Carolyn (Chuck) and Debbie (Don) and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews Steven (Lori), Rebecca (Justin) Matthew (Ame)and McKenna. Her friends were numerous making each one feel special when she was with them. Kathy proceeded her parents Florence and Albert claim her in her death. After graduating from Salinas high school in 1966, she attended business college in San Jose and began work would be a 35 year career in banking in the Salinas area including Bank of America and Steinbeck credit union. Her infectious smile and warm personality made her favorite with her client who would come by in weekly just to say hello to her. Kathy had a passion for crafting and could be found often in fabric and craft shops learning new techniques for flowering arranging quilting and embroidering just to name a few. Friends and family look forward to getting her hand crafted Christmas cards each year, knowing they were painstakingly made just for them. Kathy shared this love of crafts with her granddaughter, Natalie. When Natalie came to visit, Kathy had all kinds of crafts ready to complete together. These were special times for the two of them. She always said her biggest blessing was her family, Raising three rambunctious boys,While working full-time kept her busy. But she was always there attending school and athletic functions helping them with their 4-H and FFA projects or just cooking them their favorite meal. Even as adults Robert, Michael and John always knew their mom was there for them whenever they needed her. She will always be remembered for her devotion to all who were close to her, her kind heart, and her positive attitude. But most of all she will be remembered for her mischievous glint in her eye and her beautiful smile. While she has left us broken-hearted for now, her family and friends have wonderful memories to remember her by. Her life was truly a blessing to all who knew and loved her. Celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 30, 12 PM- 5 PM, Sun City's community, 7600 Whistlestop Way, Roseville, CA 95747
