RUSSELL, Richard ''Rick''
Passed away on August 8, 2009 at the age of 54. Raised in Monterey County, he has lived in the Sacramento area for 20+ years. Everyone who knew Rick knew of his love for family, friends and Harleys. He was born to ride! Husband of Christine. Father of Natalie, Jason and Mark. Grandfather (Pops) to DJ, Samantha, Phoebe, Tobias, Agnes, Maximilian, Emily, Charla, Keelee and Ashlyn. Son of Janet Russell. Brother of Bob, Sharon, Cindi and Patty. Please join his family in celebrating his life on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 1 pm at Price Funeral Chapel (6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights 725-2109).

Brother Rick what a shock when we got the call. This should not be happening, but it has. We would love to change the outcome, as you have changed the outcome of our lives with your presence. You have made an impact on everyone you met. Weather it be through a helping hand, or an earful of advise you were the one to go to. You had a wit about you that could make a Scotland Guard crack a smile.
Thou we have not seen each other because of the miles between us you were and always will be in our hearts. You will be forever missed. Keep a spot open for when the time comes Dinner and Darts is at the top of the list.
Thanks for the ride, our paths will meet again.

To my "Brother" Rick:
You have been on my mind the last couple of weeks, and to read of your passing thursday was extremely painfull. 18 yrs. not a drop Rick, came very close to going out last week, but for I know, you wouldn't want that; instead I thought of all the wonderful times of our childhood, and how you were a major mentor and impact in my life. How you changed the front of Mr. Kirvens 67 Pontiac, my first car; and how after my Honda CL70 was stolen and us retrieving it, you spent countless hours on the wiring until finally fixing it. You were truly a gifted individual Rick, could fix anything, fun to be around and had a heart of Gold.
Until we see each other again, ride Brother ride, those precious streets of Gold.
Love you and thinking of you forever, Brother Rick!

We saw Rick at several biker functions and loved talking to him! He was proud of his family and loved spending time with them. He had a good heart,ready smile, and great sense of humor. I will miss him!
