Bob and Val have been our best friends for over 27 years. Bob was such a gracious, gentle soul and so easy to spend time with. Many travels to Branson, Hawaii, Oregon, Idaho, Shasta, Tahoe, Washington, Eureka Springs, Hot Springs and more; boating, golfing, barbecues and just loving life! We celebrate a life well lived and will cherish the memories forever.

Bob was the most wonderful boss ever. He had so much knowledge to offer as a mentor to me.He was so funny. Oh how I loved to make him just turn completely red. Store #320 was the best times ever and that was because of Bob being the store manager there. We had a great team working there. I will never forget Bob. He left a memory in my heart. My condolences to Val and Bob's family. May he R.I.P.

Bob was my manager for about 10 years at La Riveria Lucky Stores. I always had so much respect for him. He was a kind and extremely patient manager as we had many differences but that never stopped us from being close. The last few years at Lucky's were the best. We laughed all the time, oh the stories I could tell. Bob and I became more than boss and employee, he had become a father figure and would talk to me about my life and my daughters. I've recently moved up the mountain and prayed to run into him and Val at a local store. I never had the pleasure unfortunately. Love to his family and especially Val through this difficult time. Bob was truly a wonderful man and will be missed dearly. RIP Mr. Levi

Bob was a great friend for many decades to me and my family. I used to talk to Bob on the phone every single day when we were Store Directors for Lucky / Albertsons. Bob would share his wisdom to a young grasshopper, and I my crazy enthusiasm for what we did. I used to enjoy going to meetings with Bob, but somehow always ended up in the back seat of a little BMW...Those are great memories!
Our deepest sympathy and hugs from our family to Val and the Carney family. Bob will be missed by many many folks. Know that he had impact, and a positive influence on many people's lives.
