Daisy Webster Obituary

Daisy Watt Webster

Faith - Daisy Watt Webster, 97, of Faith passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 at Genesis Health Care Center of Salisbury.

She was born Jan. 19, 1914 in Rowan County, a daughter of the late Fannie Beaver Watt and Houston Leroy Watt.

Mrs. Webster attended the schools of Rowan County. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church where she taught the children's Sunday school class for several years.

Mrs. Webster was preceded in death by her husband Lee Webster.

Left to cherish her memories are sons, Jerry Webster and wife Martha and Leonard "Whitey" Webster all of Faith; daughters, Bessie Rodgers and husband Arthur of Kannapolis and Patsy Zimmerman and husband Jack of Statesville; sister, Mabel Galloway and husband Royce of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Eric Webster and wife Carrie, Joel Webster, Mike Rodgers and Alan Zimmerman and four great grandchildren.

Visitation: 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church, 203 N. Main Street in Faith, NC.

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church sanctuary with Reverend Joe Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials: May be made to Faith Baptist Church; 203 N. Main Street; Faith, NC 28041.

Jerry, Martha, Leonard and family. I pray God will hold you in His arms during this time of loss. When I saw Daisy's picture, I couldn't help but smile. I remember growing up at Faith Baptist and Daisy always being there with a smile for all. She was such a wonderfull lady and I know she is rejoicing in heaven. She was a blessing to all.
