Gregory Moore Obituary
CLEVELAND - Gregory "Greg" O. Moore, 53, of Cleveland, died at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014.
Born in Rowan County on Sept. 23, 1961 he was the son of the late Dorothy Bryant Moore and Barron O. Moore. He graduated from West Rowan High School in 1979 and had attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College.
He worked for Shulenberger Surveying Company for 31 years as a surveyor. He was also a member of Enon Baptist Church. Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family, especially his granddaughter, Addy Mae who was the apple of his eye.
Greg is survived by his wife, Tweena Hudgins Moore, to whom he had been married for 25 years; two sons, Matt Moore and wife Carly of China Grove and Austin Moore and Elsy of Charlotte; two brothers, Terry Moore and wife Gail of Cleveland and Johnny Moore and wife Karen of Mt. Ulla; sisters, Sandy Arrowood and husband David of Cleveland and Jill Hamilton and husband Rick of Salisbury. A granddaughter Adaline Mae Moore also survives.
Visitation and Services: The family will see friends Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at Summersett Funeral Home with services following at 4 p.m. in the Summersett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Mary Louise Sitton officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Presbyterian Church, Woodleaf.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 505 East Blvd., Suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28203 or the Rowan County Humane Society, P.O. Box 295, Salisbury, NC 28144.

My husband and I had the opportunity to talk with Greg a little over a month ago as he was doing some surveying. Just from our short conversation that day we could tell he was such a nice person. Please accept our sympathy for your loss and know that you are all in our prayers.
