Julia McIntyre Obituary

Julia “Tooter” Diane McIntyre, 49, of Sage Way, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

She was born on September 9, 1974, in Rowan County to the late Herman Lee and Diane Moore McIntyre.

Julia took pride in being a nurse and always had an affectionate personality. She loved her daughter, Lillian, dearly and shared an unbreakable bond with her sister, Crystal. Julia enjoyed travelling, visiting the beach, and clowning around. She loved restaurants, especially Outback and Texas Roadhouse. “Tooter” was a very likeable person and was always the life of the party.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David McIntyre.

Survivors include her daughter, Lillian Diane McIntyre; a sister, Crystal Cleary (Scott); nephews, Jacob McIntyre (Addie) and Austin McIntyre (Brianna); great-nieces, Raeleigh McIntyre and Salem McIntyre; sisters-in-love, Deborah Hill, Patty Guidry, Stephanie McClannon, and Felecia McSwain; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and family members-in-love.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, January 12, at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Addison officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
