Jayna Quinn Obituary

1958 ~ 2015
It is with deep sadness that we announce that on March 2, 2015, Jayna Brown Quinn was called home after her three year battle against breast cancer. Jayna was born on November 13, 1958 in Santa Maria, CA. Steve and family, please know there's not a moment that i don't think about Jayna and all of you. She and you are the closest to good decent people I've ever known. Your kindness and generosity to someone you didn't even know allowed me the opportunity to get to know two very God fearing people in my life. God be with all of you during this time of memory and celebration of one of Jesus children. May He be with each of you. God blessings.

Dear Browns we are all going to miss Jayna! She was an awesome woman with so much talent. Even though she was older than me she still would let me hang out with her when Joni wasn't home to play with. She had such a kind heart and soul. Always positive and upbeat. We pray you will be at peace and know she is happy and doing what she loves. We love you all very much.

Though I never had the joy to meet Jayna in person, I share this family's loss, and my heartfelt, deepest thoughts are with you all. I was in a business relationship with Steve about 15 years ago, and he remains my trusted friend to this day.

Jayna was one of the sweetest, most generous people I've had the pleasure of knowing. She was so incredibly talented too and she thankfully shared that talent with everyone. I've thought about her a lot these last few days and I keep hearing her laugh in my head. I loved her laugh. I will always remember the family reunions and playing hearts until the early hours of the morning with her and many others. I remember she always had a camera with her capturing wonderful pictures. I have the great honor of having a picture she painted from one of those pictures she took. I will always treasure it. I will miss her greatly but I know she is now with other of our loved ones waiting for the rest of us to return. I look forward to being able to see her again someday. She was a great woman, a wonderful example, and a true inspiration for us all. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends there in Utah. I wish I could be there too. Aleta Wake

When I first moved to Farmington, Jayna was my visiting teacher. I showed her a picture of my very young children playing at the beach. That picture spoke to her in
the artist language because she asked me for a copy of it. Years later she called me saying she had something for me. She had
painted that picture of my boys and
wanted me to have it. It is a
beautiful watercolor that I will
always treasure. Thanks for
sharing your incredible talent, Jayna :) I will miss you
