I always enjoyed seeing John when I walked into the the break room at Delta. He always had a quick wit and was a VERY wise man. I loved sitting and chatting with him and listening to his stories of life and adventure. His knowledge amazed me! He ALWAYS had a calming, gentleness about him. I don't think he ever got riled up about ANYTHING which I admired! When I was having a stressful day, I could walk into the room he was in and just one look at him was like aromatherapy for me!
John, you will be missed, but I know you are looking down upon us all with that wonderful heart melting smile of yours making sure we are all ok!

Not only was I shocked but deeply saddened to hear of the loss of my friend John. Not a single day went by that we didn't share an email or two. I still find myself looking for those emails and Webshots. If it wasn't for his buddy Allan (ATL) I would never have had the greatest opportunity of knowing John. For this I am blessed and ever so thankful. To John's entire family, the loss of a loved one is never easy. May you find peace within yourselves through the precious memories that you have along with the love that you shared. We are all blessed to have known him and definitely wiser.

I consider myself very lucky to be able to call John my Dad. Jordan and I were his priority and his actions and words let us know of his unmeasurable and unconditional love for us. Although we are deeply saddened by his loss we are truely greatful to have so many memories, stories, and life lessons to take with us. It is his voice in my head telling me "you're going to be just fine, kid" that has given me the strength to push forward during the most difficult experience in my life. For me, my Dad has not gone anywhere as his very unique perspective on life has shaped my own and many others in his life. I know that many lives including my own are better because of my Dad.

I love you Daddy and I take comfort knowing that you will be with me always.

John and I had a special connection. That was John's talent, he had a special connection with most everyone. When I think back on my time at Western and Delta Air Lines, many of my hours between flights were spent head to head with John across a lunch room table: books, travel, card games, and much more. John elevated every conversation. He infused life into the ordinary and the routine. John will be greatly missed. We all have a wealth of memories to sustain us.

John my dear brother and friend, I have been blessed by your choice spirit and wonderful sense of humor for many years at Delta. It was a pleasure to travel with you. Our visit to Israel and climbing Masada still makes me smile. I will always treasure your thoughtfulness and the countless times you made me laugh. Thankyou my friend. Robyn, please know of my heart felt sorrow at John's passing. He will be greatly missed but happily remembered.

I was so saddened to read of the passing of John. I lived on Falcon Way, just around the corner, for 17 years and knew John well. His smile and sense of humor were distinctly his...and bring a smile in remembering that gift that he had. I have not met you Robyn, but am so sorry for your loss. And for the loss Jordan and Karen feel as well. He's a great and patient father. He will be missed.

John was loved by many a good soul.
He could expound on the virtures of a fine writing instrument, or matter-of -factley, set your thoughts on the right path. So concerned for the children he loved, and yet, wanted what every man wants in life, a soul mate that would bring him out to enjoy lifes gifts. A wonderful human being, with all the intelligence, and wit, with "substance". A man who needed to share his thoughts, because John had so many good things that would benifit any soul.
Wise, unasumming, and gracious, this was a fine, fine MAN. A good MAN. A decient MAN. Above all, a MAN that will be welcomed to the "Heaven of GOD", with the open arms, from the "LORD", with the "CARPET rolled out" for a great soul, a great Man, and lover of his "Faith"!

GOD bless you John!!!!!
