Estela Ibarra Obituary

IBARRA
Estela G. Ibarra, born August 30, 1906, passed away at the age of 103 years on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. She was born in Hacienda Laraldena, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was the middle child of fifteen siblings. Her parents were Anselmo and Antonia (Elizondo) Garza. She was married to her beloved husband, Fidel G. Ibarra for forty-five years and together they operated their own grocery business for many years in Mexico. Together they raised two children and moved to San Antonio in 1955. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and twelve siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Stella Rogers, (Jesus Trevino), and son Fidel Ibarra Jr. (Rebecca), five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and three sisters.
SERVICES
A visitation will be held on Friday at Simplicity Funeral Home from 1:00 - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am at Simplicity Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery #2.
