John McAllister Obituary
John was born in Oklahoma on September 1st 1958. John was an extraordinary brother, friend and mentor to many. John was an Eagle Scout (since 1975) and is the founder of the Live Oak Boy Scout Troop 239 and was active in the Troop till his passing. John impacted many youth lives throughout the years with in the service of the Boy Scouts. John Graduated College from Texas Tech and was an active member of the Texas Tech Alumni. John has made an impact on everyone he met and will be missed greatly by the void he has left.
John is survived by his Brother James M. McAllister and numerous cousins nieces and nephews. John was Preceded in death by his Father John K. McAllister Sr and Mother Ella R. McAllister
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 22 from 5:30PM-8PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Celebration of Life will be on Friday, December 23 at 3PM also at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
Interment will follow at a later date in Arkansas.

John was a dear friend who will be missed greatly! John had such a warm calm spirit and was always such a wonderful person to talk with. He was a great listener, his advice came with words that were well thought out. His strong faith in our LORD was also present in his actions. He was a fantastic witness to others around him. I know John is now in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ, but he will be missed by many.

John will be missed by friends, co-workers, and naturally the Boy Scouts. He was an asset to all he came in contact with and he was a friend to all.
