Leo Dye Obituary

DYE
Leo Ira Dye,Sr. passed away November 30, 2012 at the age of 89 in San Antonio, Texas. Leo was born June 8, 1923, to Luster I., and Myrtle E. (Pate) Dye in Medina, TX. Leo was a very devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Leo retired from KeIIy Field after 37 years of civil service. Leo was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Lonnie Dye and Wilda Dye, the mother of his three children. He is survived by his wife Juanita Dye, children, Leo Dye, Jr. and wife Johanna, Audrey Rogers and husband Monty and James Dye; step-daughters Pam Sansom and husband James, Karen Schuessier and husband Mark, grandchildren: Chuck Rogers, Lori Rogers, Brent Dye and wife Cindy, Ross Dye and Melinda Young, Aaron Dye, Jamie Music and husband Chris. Step-grandsons Jeremy, Michael and Stephen Schuessler. He has nine great-grandchildren: Angela and Terra Rogers, Madison Dye, Bayleigh and Jordan Music, Parker and Payton Tyler, Makayla Young, Richard Barker. Leo served in the Army Air Forces, 680th Bomb Squadron during World War II and served on Tinian Island in the Western Pacific. Visitation for Leo will be at Mission Park Funeral Chapel South Tuesday December 4, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. December 5, 2012 at Mission Park Funeral Chapel South with interment at Mission South. Leo was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alamo Honor Flight or Wounded Warriors. For personal acknowledgment you may sign the guest book at www.missionparks.com in the obituary section.
