Loretta Sorensen Obituary
On Thursday November 30, 2017, Loretta Moreno Sorensen (54), wife, mother (to her fur babies), daughter and sister, went to heaven.
Loretta is preceded in death by her father, Lionel T. Moreno.
Loretta will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend Robert, their Fur babies: Blondie, Bambie, Snowie, Chilie, Jawsie; and also by Ruth Sweet (Grandmother), Gary Sorensen, (Father in Law), Sheri Goodwin, (Sister in Law); Loretta Moreno (mother), Irene Valdez (Sister) George (Brother in Law); Lionel Moreno Jr. (Brother) Guadalupe Moreno (sister in Law), Jesse Moreno (sister in Law ), Terry Moreno (Sister in law), Brothers Abel and Arnold Moreno, Sarah Valdez (niece), Jason Valdez, Nathan (nephews) and Jennifer Moreno, Jason Silva, family, and dear friends.
Loretta, was born and raised in San Antonio, attended John Jay High School where she played Flute in the John Jay Band. She loved music. She also attended San Antonio College. Her work family was Goldstein, Goldstein, Hilley & Orr, where she truly enjoyed helping others. She was an Oblate Sister of the Sacred Order of Mary Magdalene. She was becoming a Deacon for the Order. Her faith, hope and souls' light surrounded her life. She aspired to assist everyone and left her smile imprinted on persons' hearts.
Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Order of Magdalene, Magdalene Chapel 144 Fort Wayne, Universal City, TX 78148.
She will be interned at Ft Sam Houston Cemetery at a private family service on December 29, 2017 at 11 am.
