Margaret B. Duggan

Major Margaret Bridget Duggan, USAF - Retired, passed away on June 15, 2007 at the age of 66. She is survived by her nieces: Sally Steinbrunn and Kathy Wall. Major Duggan was commissioned in 1963 and served overseas in Okinawa, Japan and Thailand. From 1975 Ð 1977 she was the Commander of 3709 BMTS at Lackland AFB. In 1977 she went to Iran to integrate women into the Iranian armed forces but had to flee in 1979 when the Shah of Iran was overthrown. She retired in 1982 and became a Paralegal. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 22, 2007, 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Services under the direction of Castle Ridge Mortuary.
