Martha Endress Vann passed away 5/5/2021 at the age of 75. She was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, attended Memorial High School and Evansville College where she was the Lambda Chi Alpha Sweetheart. She was married to Col Don Vann for 56 years, proudly supported his long career in the US Air Force and making lifelong friends around the world.
Martha freely shared her fashion savvy and decorating talents- as she loved having beautiful people and things around her. She made others feel welcome and important- she never met a stranger so fun times followed her everywhere she went.
When she and Don returned to retire in San Antonio, she said she was home forever- because there was no place like Texas.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Don. She leaves behind her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Janie Endress; her sister, Sarah Cox; numerous nephews and nieces; her daughter, Deanna Nethercutt, son-in-law Ray Nethercutt and beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth Nethercutt and her sweet Shih Tzu Rosalie; as well as the many friends who made up her Air Force family.
