To the Stein Family:

your father always impressed me with his work ethic, and wonderfully old school ways of taking care of business. his Vet office was like a time capsule, going back to the 50's or 60's. I've been to other Vet offices and none of them look like Dr. Steins's. His nostalgic, cute little office is what we'll always remember - all 'Norman Rockwellesque.' Somehow he always remembered my wife's first name. Rest in eternal peace, Dr. Stein! Ralph and Monica Perez and family.

I LOVE YOU DAD

Dr. Stein was and will always be the best Vet around. He always had a practical explanation of how to take care of my dogs. Besides that, he was a wonderful person, funny, sweet and so kind and understanding. I will never trust another Vet like I did him. He is one of a kind. Love, Bert and Becky Ranzau

To the Stein Family, my heartfelt condolences. Dr. Stein was an outstanding human being and doctor. He has been our family veterinarian for decades, and was generous to give his home number if I needed to call him about my animals. I miss seeing his car parked by his office when I drive by. Other vets could take a page out of this man book. Dr. Stein you are missed, but this world was made better because of you.

Dr. Stein was always honest and blunt. He had a great since of humor even though you couldn't believe your ears he said that about your pet. Take it or leave it. He and his wife have always been my friends. For over 40 years I have been his customer. I was his customer up until the end the first of October 2013. I would trust this doctor with all my pets. I will never have such trust, friendship and love for another Veternairan. Susan Diane Garcia His friend.

My Daughters confidently took their beloved pets to Dr. Stein. I watched him put Fruity to rest. That man was so very compassionate that I could not help but admire him. My condolences to his family. We have been blessed by his presence here on Earth. May you be given the strength to continue your life here until you are reunited with him.

Dr. Stein treated my pets since my son was very young. My son is now going on 23 years old and has a child of his own. I also have an 8 year old daughter. Dr. Stein would always be so very kind when he saw my daughter at each visit and would always ask about my son. He will definitely be greatly missed. Rest in peace Dr. Stein! You were a fabulous doctor. We miss you already!

We started taking our pets to Dr. Stein in the mid seventies. He was always most caring to our cats even when they didn't reciprocate. He was always so gentle with them, and I don't ever think we will find someone as compassionate. He wii be greatly missed.

What a kind & decent man! We took our dogs to his Hillcrest office for many years. He always looked so neat & fit; he was friendly, caring, cheerful, great strong face with a engaging smile. If any in his family are just like him, hope you carry on his goodness.
