Rodolfo Paredes Reyes, born March 13, 1936 to parents Emiliano Reyes and Estella Paredes Reyes, entered into eternal rest October 17, 2017 at the age of 81. Rodolfo was preceded in death by his father, Emiliano Reyes and mother, Estella Paredes Reyes. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maria Galvan Reyes; son, Rodolfo Reyes Jr.; daughter, Laura Reyes Gutierrez (Reuben); brothers, Emiliano Reyes (Linda), Ricardo Reyes (Inez) and Ruben Reyes (Linda); sisters, Raquel Vasquez (Jose), Ruth Martinez (Robert) and Rebecca Sanchez (Elias); grandchildren, Stella Marie Aguirre, Reuben Gutierrez Jr. and Matthew Gutierrez; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Aguirre and Andres Aguirre Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Rodolfo owned and operated La Superior Bakery at 647 Cupples Road for 58 years. He was a man of the Lord, loving, caring, giving and hard working. He was always with a smile and willing to help others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. In his later years, he loved going for rides, especially to pick up his grandkids from school. Rodolfo will live in our hearts forever and will be dearly missed. The family invites you to come celebrate and honor a wonderful life lived. Funeral services are as follows: Monday - October 23, 2017 - Visitation: 4-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78237. Christian prayer service at 7pm. Tuesday - October 24, 2017 - Visitation: 8-10:15am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel Departure: 10:30am to Oak Hills Church, 321 N. Gen. McMullen Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78237 for a 11am Church Service. Graveside services at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78226 following Church services - Funeral services to be led by police escort procession.
