Rosa Rangel Obituary
Rosa G. Rangel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 9, 2018 at age 87. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Ralph G. Rangel Sr.; parents, Antonio and Gonzala Gallegos, her brothers Victor and Santos Gallegos and daughter-in-law Janet Rangel. Rosa is survived by daughters Diana Ortiz, Dora Perez (Martin), and son Ralph Rangel Jr., (Natasha), grandchildren Felisa (Jose), Vanessa (Gilbert), Matthew (Darin), Erica, Andrew, and Jennifer, great grandchildren Carlos, Joseph, Nathaniel, Vincent, Emma, Geovani, Jayden, Kaylee, and Anabelle, sister-in-law Lucy Pena and brother-in-law Richard Rangel (Marie), comadre Maria Perez, childhood friend of 77 years Aurora Ramos, and numerous family and friends. Rosa was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 4 p.m. at the Alamo Funeral Home with Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Monday, August 20, 2018 at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery.
