To say we lost one of the good ones is an understatement. 11 years we worked side by side for LCCPW. There was not a Saturday from August to December he wasn´t on that field doing whatever was needed, set up, break down, barbecuing, coaching.. He gave it all and I am not surprised at all to see a go fund me dedicated back to LCC. It´s who he was, it´s who his beautiful family continues to be. My heart dropped when I heard the news. His larger than life presence will be missed. He loved his friends, he loved his family, and he loved being a part of the LCC community. Yes he took teams to the pop Warner super bowl but more importantly he raised dozens of boys into becoming good men. My favorite story ever was a mom wanted to sign a boy up late, the boy had never played football, he was a tough kid going through a tough time. Teams had been formed but I really felt Pop Warner could help this kid. Brian was coaching a powerhouse D1 team. I asked the other coaches first, please take this kid, and they said they wish they could but team was too big or he didn´t have enough experience, he was coming in late. I called Brian asking for help to convince these other teams to take him. Brian without missing a beat, said " I will take him. The kid deserves a chance." And to show the kind of team Brian had, that kid was embraced, parents stepped in to coach him up, moms helped tutor him in school so he could keep his grades up to keep playing. With three little words "I´ll take him", he changed that kids life. There´s a million moments like this that Brian did privately. Behind that big smile was a man that impacted so many. You will forever be missed, my friend. Would love to hear you yell, Let´s go Mavs one last time.

To all the family, I'm absolutely stunned and shocked to hear of Brian's sudden passing. I worked with Brian's dad for many years and Brian worked there during college breaks. We had a blast. Such a great sense of humor. Brian also recently did a couple of refi's and I was able to get together with him for a cocktail. My heartfelt condolences to you all. I pray for peace and strength. RIP Brian, you will be missed my friend.
