I will always cherish the memories of Johnny in my heart, his cheerful and funny personality no matter how sick, he lived each day as Jesus would want us to do by taking up his cross and offering it all up to our Lord.

To my sister in-law Rita my heart felt condolences to you and (Ana, David, Patrick and Christopher). Rita you are forever an inspiration to me on how we are to love, honor and care for our spouse as you did with Johnny.

I love you all very much,

Goodbye for now, Johnny. We'll be together again soon near our Blessed Mother's feet in heaven. I recall you told us how you'd seen her in dreams; and how you loved her. I always believed you. You were really a fine Catholic.
And you told me "Gene, there's a place in heaven for clowns, too." With a beautiful smile on your face! What a classy guy you have been!

Coach Guerra was a good ole boy with a passion for sports. And helping kids. He was my all star coach as a 12 year old at Skyline LL and he was a very positive leader.
May he rest in peace and his "great" family be comforted by knowing John is sitting at the right hand of our Father.

Growing up in Logan Heights I always looked up to big cousin Johnny, he was always doing something ! I remember whene he and a friend repaired a fiberglass boat in the front yard and most memorable the bondfire beach party at silverstrand where he and Rita were our chaperones.Johnny was instrumental in my meeting Lydia my wife, I remember clearly what he said to me " I meant, 'show her around Salinas not marry her!' I know Juan as a very caring and compassionate person. He was always kind and very nice. He and Rita one time gave me an Angel pin after having surgery. I will remember him with much love and pray for comfort and understanding for Rita, Anna, David and the rest of his family.
