William Goddard Obituary

William H. (Bill) Goddard VALLEY CENTER/ ESCONDIDO/ SAN MARCOS -- William H. Goddard (Bill) passed peacefully Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Born November 20, 1922, Bill was a lifelong resident of North County, having grown-up in Valley Center with his parents Edward and Mildred Goddard, brother Ed, and sister, Mildred (Babe). All preceded him in passing. He and his wife, Jean, resided in Escondido and San Marcos. They were married 60 years before Jean passed in November, 2003. Bill proudly served our country in the Navy during World War II. Survivors are daughters, Sharon Goddard, Laura Gay (Al), Elaine Barlow; son, Bruce (Lynn); seven grandchildren, Trisha Sehnert, Kristi Martineau, Jeffrey Goddard, Matthew Goddard, Y'ana Goddard, Elisha Pellanda, and Gina Reyburn; and eight great- grandchildren. Viewing: Eternal Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, Oceanside, 9-11 am, Tuesday, October 6th. Graveside Service: Riverside National Cemetery, 1:15 pm Tuesday, October 6th, with Full Military Honors.
