Kyndal Harris Obituary

Capitola
Kyndal Harris, an incoming eighth grader at New Brighton Middle School, passed away due to a fatal accident in Soquel, California, on June 26, 2022. She was born in Los Gatos and lived in San Jose and briefly in Phoenix until the family moved to Capitola when she was age four.
She attended Opal Cliffs Preschool the first year it opened, followed by Soquel Elementary School where she attended kindergarten through fifth grade. She then moved on to New Brighton Middle School.
Kyndal was very athletic as a long-time dance student at Dancenter in Capitola participating in performances at the Civic Center in Santa Cruz for many years. She also took part in Junior Guards in Capitola and participated in a running group at Soquel Elementary School. And she loved to ride her bike around Capitola with her friends. She was also very artistic and enjoyed painting using watercolors, drawing, sewing, knitting and making quilts.
She is survived by her mother, Arden Rylee, and her father, Laurent Harris; half-brother Isaac Abella; half-sister Aviah Harris; grandmother Renee Linzey; grandfather Ronnie Harris; grandmother Penny Rylee; grandfather Clint Rylee (wife Lia); many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service is planned for July 30 from noon until two PM at Jade Street Park in Capitola. Please bring beach towels and chairs for eating outside following the service.
