Arthur Henry Castellanos

Paso Robles - Arthur Henry Castellanos, age 47, passed away on April 4, 2023 in Atascadero, California. Arthur was born in Long Beach, CA on January 2, 1976. Arthur spent his early years growing up in Cerritos, CA later moving to Santa Maria, CA in 1979. Arthur attended Ralph Dunlap Elementary, Lakeview Junior High School, and Ernest Righetti High School. Arthur was an excellent cook and owned his own restaurant "Little Papis " in Paso Robles, CA. He later worked for the Okonite Cable Company then moved to the maintenance department at the Radisson Hotel at the Santa Maria airport. Arthur had several passions in life, but soccer over shadowed the rest. He played for the Santa Maria United Soccer Club and was coached by his father, Luis Barba Castellanos. Arthur won several major trophies in various tournaments throughout the state of California. Arthur is survived by his beloved mother Mary, his brothers Paul, Jose Luis, Ruben, Mario, Michael, and Anthony, his sister Teresa, and his three daughters, Myrah, Katharine, and Audrey.

The Rosary is set for Thursday April 27, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at Saint Louis de Montfort Church in Orcutt, CA, with the service scheduled the following day Friday April 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited for a celebration of life get together at 4535 Cynbalaria Court following the ceremony at Saint Louis de Montfort Church. Arthur was my best friend when growing up. I remember on Halloween we would have pillow cases we used for bags and one time we filled are bags up 3x we had so much candy are parent could not believe how much candy we had. They had to inspect all of are candy it was so funny.

I remember me, Arthur,and Steve were riding are bikes to school and it was picture day at Ralf Dunlap school I was on the handle bars and Arthur was pedaling and steve was on the bike pegs on the back of the bike we were running late so we were going real fast and my foot got caught in the spokes of the bike and we all went flying and got busted up. We showed up to school all bloody for picture day. Lol lol.. We were crazy kids. I Will miss you bro!! See you in the after life brother

Arthur & I shared some classes back in the day at Righetti. Not a day passed where he didn´t greet everyone with a shining smile, his clear beautiful eyes shining. There was a time where Arthur stood up for me at his own peril in a violent situation, without hesitation, and de-escalated the conflict with smiles and handshakes. I´m sorry to his family for this loss, take some small comfort in knowing that he is loved and respected by all who´ve known him.
