Olga Bergin SARATOGA SPRINGS - Olga Bergin, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 27, 1919 in New York, NY to the late John Komar and Anastasia Homel. Olga graduated from New York City High School and upon graduating from high school, Olga continued her education attending college. Olga worked as a dress designer and model prior to becoming a homemaker who was kind, loving and a warm person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, quilting, painting and had a compassion for art. She also loved spending time with her family. Olga is survived by her daughters; Joan Burke, Ann Cooper, sons; Edward Bergin, Robert Bergin and Paul Bergin. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Joseph Bergin, parents, and her eldest son, William J. Bergin A Mass with Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday June 9, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church, 231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs with Father Luyen Dau presiding. Calling hours will be held Monday, June 8th, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue (Rte. 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at the Calvary Cemetery, 4902 Laurel Hill Blvd., Woodside, NY 11377. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Olga can be made to St. Clements Regional Catholic School, Angel Scholarship Fund, 231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
