David Alan Campbell Jr, 50 of Rock Falls died Sunday December 11, 2022 unexpectedly at his home.
He was born on June 28, 1972 in Sterling, the son of David Alan and Linda Marie (Finn) Campbell. He attended Nelson Grade School and was a graduate of Rock Falls High School. David had been working at Metal Spinners in Rock Falls for over 27 years at the time of his death. He loved fishing, motorcycles and spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his parents, David and Linda Campbell of Nelson; his niece Addison; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Shane Campbell in December 2020.
Visitation will be held on Saturday December 17, 2022 from 12:00 noon til 1:30 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow at 1:30 PM. Burial will conclude at Nelson Cemetery.

I remember Davey, that´s what the guys in the neighborhood called him.
I Can still remember him hanging out with my nephews and when he was a young boy he wasn´t afraid of much at all
I understand he grew up to be a good man.
