To the Kelly Family:

I met your mom some 25 years ago when her husband Bill was on the board of the Savannah Little Theatre. He had a strong presence, and provided some much-needed leadership in the midst of a time of challenges. I liked him a lot, and was very glad he was on our board. Your mom was a kind, intelligent, sweet woman who was a joy to know. We have all been blessed to have had them in our midst. I wish I could have known them both a lot better. Sincerely,

Mary-Catherine Fields

Dear Susan and Karl, Pam and Rick, Paula and Andy, Kelly, Brett, Will and Lottie,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, grandmother and best friend. I still remember the many weekends staying with y'all in Savannah and at the beach and your mother's tolerance of our late night snack binges. I last saw her at Kelly's Bat Mitzvah during which she was so proud of her family. She was a wonderful woman whom I know you will all miss very much. May your memories of her bring you peace and comfort. May each of you find support from each other and may you grow closer through the coming years.

with love,

Dear Susan, Paula and Pam,

I am so sorry to hear the sad news about your mother. I remember when she would come to our classes at Heard bearing cookies or other treats. She was a lovely, warm woman.

Please accept my sympathies for your loss.

Best regards,

Cynthia Costa
