Louise Kessler

Guyton Ð Mrs. Louise Kessler, 85, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at the Effingham hospital. The Effingham County native was a homemaker, a member of Marlow Friendship Garden Club and the Marlow Farm Bureau. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she was in the choir, a member of the W.E.L.C.A., and played the organ and piano. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Hampton P. Kessler, Jr. of Guyton; two sons, Wilmer R. Nease and Herbert Nease, both of Guyton; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; step-son, Marcus Kessler of Guyton; step-daughter, Frieda Ellis of Ridgeland, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2004 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2004 at Zion Lutheran Church. She will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Remembrances may be given to Zion Lutheran Church Land Fund, 121 Noel C.
