It has been years since I have seen you but I do share your grief. I lost my last parent four years ago so we have that in common. Doc was so sweet to me during the time I knew him. I will treasure those memories forever!

Susie, our prayers are with you and all the family. I know you will miss him greatly, but there is an awful lot that he took care of over the years(34) for myself who will always miss him and appreciate that care. They broke the mold with him 'cause there was only one Doc. Not only was I his patient, I also got to work with him as a nurse, as Larry and I was saying the other night, he was just a plain old country doctor and he had no equal in our eyes. He's home now and as surrounded by loved ones there as he was here.

You are in our thoughts and prayers, Doc was our family physician and delivered quiet a few babies for us. Stood by our side when we were taking the steps you are about to take. Remember, earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Cherrish his memories and know that love never dies, he will be with you all in your hearts. I just wanted to say I am where I am today because of Dr. Robinson's encouragement and patience. He gave me a job at the age of 16 and taught me things I will never forget. I will always remember the wisdom he shared with me during those years. I would often think about him during the workday and remember things he would say or do and those are things you don't learn in any college or classroom setting. Always in my heart~

Sorry to hear about your loss. Your Dad had treated most everyone in Metter and Cobbtown, and he always had a way of making you laugh when you saw him. I know he will be remembered for all the good he did as a doctor.

Gail, So sorry to read of your Dad's death online in the Savannah paper. I have such fun memories of going to him when we called him the "fat" doctor. Kay Youngblood, Bobbie Durst, & I went to him several months & actually lost weight. Of course, as soon as we stopped seeing him, we gained all the weight back. Anyway, I do share your pain of losing both parents now, so may God bless you & your family.

Dr. Robinson will always be special to me because he brought my daughter, Melodie, to me. He was like a member of the family to his patients. I am sure I will join with many others in mourning his death. My thoughts and prayers will be with the family as they adjust to their great loss.

Dr. Robinson was not only a wonderful Physician, but a great friend also...we shall never forget all the good laughs we had together and the many times he treated us for many different "ailments".
