Bruce Walmer Obituary
Bruce L. "Choo Choo" Walmer Sr., 69, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, in UPMC Pinnacle West Shore.
Born on Oct. 11, 1952, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Leroy and Mildred I. Miller Walmer.
He was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and received an associate degree.
Bruce was a systems architect for PHEAA.
He was a member of the Train Collectors Association.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Rodney.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Julianne; a son, Bruce Jr. and wife, Laura; two daughters, Cassandra and husband, Mike, and Rachel; eight grandchildren, Ethan, Owen, Nathaniel, Rose, Lily, Ali, Lexi and Lena; a sister, Lana.
All services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hetzel's Cemetery, Pine Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Hetzel's U.C.C. Memorial Fund, 261 Hetzel's Church Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963, in his memory. H.L.
