John Conroy Obituary
John Conroy, 82, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late M. Joseph and Margaret (Siney) Conroy. He was a 1959 graduate of Nativity BVM High School and served in the Army.
He was beloved husband of the late Catherine Ann Conroy; stepfather of Roseanna Fay Haley (Tommy), Linda Joesoef and Aswin Edward Joesoef; proud grandfather to Mario Mercado, Beatrice Mercado, Iain Berman and the late Emmanuel Mercado; loving sisters are Joanne M. Campion, Mary Evelyn Trinkle, Peggy Jean Hess and the late Anna Mae Devitt; as well as nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, from St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, 250 E. Hancock St., Saint Clair, PA 17970, with Monsignor William Glosser officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110, or at www.alz.org. Burial with military honors will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, Saint Clair, is in charge of arrangements.
