Regina D. Moyer Augustine

Regina D. Moyer Augustine, 78, of Friedensburg, passed away Aug. 8 at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

Born in Brommerstown, Feb. 5, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Lee G. and Agnes Fidler Reber.

She was the widow of Richard G. Augustine, who passed away April 11, 2007.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Summer Hill, Auburn.

Regina was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Orwigsburg Chapter No. 424, having served as past matron. She had also served as secretary for the Missionary Society, Bethany Evangelical.

Regina had been employed by Doctor and Mrs. Lyons as a housekeeper.

In addition to her parents and husband, Regina was preceded in death by children, William and Michael Moyer, and brothers, Karl, Marvin, Merlin, Melvin, Harold and Robert Reber.

She is survived by four daughters, Wanda Kemfort, Lisa Shaup, Sheila Hummel and Sandy Gordon, and three sons, Sterling Moyer, Richard Augustine and Randy Augustine. Regina is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Forest, Ronald and Milton Reber; sisters, Diane Trout and Shirley Deguire; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, with the Rev. Kathleen Ash-Flashner officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with an Eastern Star service beginning at 10:15 a.m. Interment will immediately follow the religious service at Cressona Cemetery, Cressona. At Regina's request, memorial donations may be made to Order of the Eastern Star, c/o Fern Houser, 730 W. Market St., Orwigsburg, PA 17961.
