I had the fortune of being taken under Kathy's wing as a sophomore in high school as I helped out as a student athletic trainer for the basketball team. She was always smiling and laughing. Over the last year or so we had reconnected through Facebook and she became a regular challenger of mine in the game Dice with Buddies and she last beat me on Saturday! It will be hard now to ever play that game as it will show we have a game in progress! I am glad to have seen that Kathy had a great family support system and I will miss all the pictures. May God comfort all of the family members who mourn this unexpected loss. Until that day we all meet again and share another laugh together. RIP my friend!

The Dear Don, Deb, Doug and families. We were so sorry to hear about Kathy. My mind went back to the many years our families had together at the lakes. So thankful and blessed to have Christian families having fun together. As the years have allowed us to all go our separate ways, it is a blessing to know how Kathy kept the faith, and obviously was a Jesus Girl! Celebrating with you all in the knowledge that we will one day all be together again. Your in our hearts and minds, may God give you the peace only He can give. Love you!

We were deeply saddened by the passing of my cousin Kathy and our hearts go out to my Uncle Don, cousins Deb and Doug and their families as well as the Boldt family and all who knew and loved her. Not having communicated much with Kathy through our lives, I sense that she was a woman after God's own heart and knew our Savior well. She will be sorely missed. God rest her soul.

I am honored and blessed to have known Kathy. She and I became friends when my family moved to Red Wing. We attended camp at Trout Lake and assisted in the nursery at First Baptist church. She and I remained friends in junior and senior high through graduation. We reconnected a couple of years ago and I have enjoyed seeing her photos and postings about her life, her children & her family. Kathy was a kind, generous and thoughtful person. She was truly a blessing & will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go to her family, her children and grandchildren. May God bless and comfort you through this difficult time.

Kathy was my neighbor and dear childhood friend. We lived a couple of doors down from one another. I have hardly any memories of growing up on Twin Bluff Road that do not include my dear friend Kathy. I remember we were always laughing and never ran out of things to talk about. We had a shortcut path we made through the woods, to get to each other's houses faster. The Jensen home was like a second home to me. Don and Joleen were always welcoming, even after I accidentally let their cute little white poodle (Angie? I think her name was) out and she ended up having puppies with Fritzie, the dachshund. As little girls, we played with barbies, sunbathed, played tether ball, took part in neighborhood soft ball games, played with make- up and danced to Olivia Newton John in her parent's living room, typical little girls. She had the most intoxicating laugh and the sunniest disposition. I remember Kathy being a talented gymnast and was always generous with teaching me what she knew. She was a very good athlete and a real pro on her unicycle. I always looked up to her. In grade school, we waited at the bus stop together; in junior high, we often walked to and from school together; and in high school she would take that same beaten down, wooded path to my house and we would drive to school together in my old Plymouth Volare. I was always running late and Kathy would sit on the edge of my bed, patiently waiting, watching me run around looking for matching socks. On Saturdays, I would often stop in and say hello to her at the jewelry store, even though I had seen her practically every day of the week prior. Last spring we reconnected via Facebook, and I have enjoyed seeing the posts of her wonderful family, her loving husband- Barry. It comforted me to see what a beautiful life she had built for herself. It seemed, as she was a fairly recent empty nester, now might be a great opportunity to reconnect in person. I had hoped that would be our future path together. Don, Debbie and Doug I am so sorry for your loss. Barry, Sarah, Amanda, Scott, Laura, Heather and Gregg, there are no words to express the loss of your beautiful wife, mother and grandmother. She was many things to many people. She was my dearest childhood friend. God Bless you all.

Dear Don: Our hearts go out to you and your family over the loss of your precious daughter. We met Kathleen when she was visiting you at Paradise RV Park in Sun City, AZ. We can empathize with you as we too have lost a daughter. A pastor of ours once told me, "When you can't trace God's hand, you can still trust His heart." You have our love, our prayers and our sympathy at this difficult time.
