Anastasia Webster Obituary

Anastasia (Nan) Webster

Anastasia (Nan) Webster passed away peacefully on Thursday May 26, 2016. She was 94. Nan was born May 7, 1922 just outside Wroxton, Saskatchewan, Canada to Michael and Maria Beck who immigrated to Canada from the Ukraine. They had 14 children, 8 girls and 6 boys. Nan married the love of her life, Ron Webster, in 1957. They were married 47 years. She worked at JC Penny for 30 years as a Sales Associate in downtown Seattle and later at Northgate. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in the Broadview area. Nan believed there were only two seasons: Winter and Baseball. She was an avid Mariner fan and had quite a passion for the game. Mentioning a certain relief pitcher by the name of Bobby Ayala would result in a volcanic eruption by Nan.

She is survived by her daughter Lori Rennaker of Kirkland, WA and her son Glen (Cheryl) Webster of Covington, WA, her four grandchildren Ryan Rennaker (Liz) of San Francisco, CA, Michael Rennaker (Becca) of Seattle, WA, Stephanie Webster of Everett, WA, and Lauren Webster of Covington, WA, sister Marlene McBain of Vancouver, BC and brother Mervin (Voni) Beck of Vancouver, BC. Nan was preceded in death by her husband Ron (2004), parents Michael Beck (1965) and Maria Beck (1971), brothers George (1978), Norman (1979), William (1985), Nester (2002), Stan (2015), and sisters Victoria Patrick (1997), Kay Fleck (2000), Irene Miazga (2004), Lillian (Becky) Legget (2007), Francis (Frankie) Harms (2013) and Anne Abrametz (2015).

A very special thank you to the Chateau at Valley Center in Renton, WA, Immaculate Adult Family Home and Evergreen Hospice in Kent, WA and all the doctors and staff at Valley Family Medicine in Renton, WA for their excellent care and compassion.

A celebration of life for Nan will be held on Thursday June 16th at 1pm at the residence of Michael and Becca Rennaker, 7280 - 28th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98115.
