Einar Jorgensen Obituary

Einar L. JORGENSEN Born July 13, 1946 in Seattle.He passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010 with family by his side. He was named after his uncle Einar "Swede" Lindskog who was a famous race car driver. Einar loved cooking, sitting around a campfire, working with cars, fishing, and spending time with his family and many lifelong friends. He retired from Sealand. Einar is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, his son Eric Jorgensen, grandson Blake, sisters and brothers Linda (Don) Olson, Arne (Judith) Jorgensen, Martha Jorgensen, Lynette (Dave) White, Konrad (Julie) Jorgensen and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Signe and Arne Jorgensen. WE LOVE YOU, EINAR! A memorial service will be held at Ray's Boathouse in Ballard (the Northwest Room) on Monday, April 12th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association of WA at 100 W. Harrison St., North Tower, Suite 200, Seattle, WA 98119

Einar was in many of my classes. Everyone liked him. All of the Ballard High '64 will truely miss him. We will remember him also at our 50th reunion in 2014. Rita Dragland / Hansen

I'm saddened to hear of "Jorges" passing. Working many years with him at Sealand was a pleasure! He was a "Gentle Giant". He will be greatly missed.
