Prahlad Ayengar Obituary

Prahlad KN Ayengar

In loving memory of Prahlad KN Ayengar who passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer on December 17, 2017 at 85.

Prahlad immigrated from India to the US in 1958 and graduated from Stanford University and the University of Washington. His career as a civil engineer has left a lasting impact on Seattle: I-5, SeaTac Airport, the Space Needle and the I-90 floating bridge where he was the Design Team Leader.

Prahlad was a lifelong volunteer for the Boys Scouts of America, serving as Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 166 for 25 years.

Prahlad is survived by his son, daughter, son-in-law, grandson, 7 siblings and generations of scouts, parents and leaders.

We are raising money for Camp Parsons in Prahlad's name, which he attended every year, including 2017 while battling cancer. Please donate at gofundme.com/Ayengar
