Mr. Axell was a very gracious and kind man. I knew him as a Manager at Boeing. He always smiled!

We are of course devastated about your loss Nancy & thinking about you. I didn't realize how many similarities there was between dad & Dick's Career! I know the four of you shared many lovely times together. I won't be able to be at the memorial, but think The Flight Museum is a wonderful setting for remembrance. You and your family are in my thoughts. Diane & Gabe xo

Dick played an important role in the early development of the Executive Service Corps of Washington(now a program of 501 Commons.) He helped nurture an great idea that has resulted in more than $15 million of donated professional services to nonprofits.
We are grateful for his many contributions to our organization and to his community and send our condolences to Nancy, his family, and friends.

Dearest Axell Family,
We feel so honored to have known Dick, and so grateful that we had the opportunity to share a hug and a smile with him at Jonathan and Molly's wedding.
It was always such a treat to chat with Dick and Nancy at school plays, performances, sports events or the BIG birthdays.....he was always there to support and love all of us - family or friend.
Please know that the Axell family is in our hearts, and that Dick's lovely smile burns brightly as we remember him with all our love.
