Lindon Ivers Obituary
He was a member of Waddy Baptist Church.
He took pride in his work pouring concrete for a living. He loved fishing, deer hunting, gardening and Nascar.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Ivers; his sister Mona Banta; and his brother Billy Ivers.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sarah Ann Ivers; his daughters, Gena Ivers of Shelbyville, Karen Ivers of Frankfort; his son, Kevin Ivers of Frankfort; his brothers, Bobby Ivers (Billie Jean) of Shelbyville, and Ikie Ivers of Frankfort; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Milo.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday April 3, 2023, at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday April 2, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
