Anna Grazia Clerkin passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022 at the age of 86. Her dear love and companion of 25+ years Daniel Cadena was holding her hand and her three loving daughters were nearby.
Although a native of Lucca, Italy (and very proud Tuscan!), Anna Grazia lived in San Francisco for more than 65 years, raising her daughters, working and making an indelible impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to meet and know her. Throughout her entire life people commented on her elegance and breathtaking beauty; her stunning eyes and beautiful smile captured hearts and she got a kick when strangers stopped and told her this, well into her 80s. In her later years, she and Dan traveled throughout the United States and over a dozen times to Italy; sharing a never-ending love of laughter, adventure and living each day to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 40 years, Philip (1994), and is survived by her daughters, Alexandria, Anna Siria and Alissa, her grandchildren Amelia and Olivia Slippy, Omar Clerkin and Sophia Ortiz, her great granddaughter Annalisa Clerkin and sons-in-law Gary (Alexandria) and James (Anna Siria).
She will forever be missed by her sisters Gigliola and Maria Siria, cousin Paola, as well as numerous relatives and dear friends, both here and abroad. Her daughters will miss their loving, generous and selfless Mother dearly and her grandchildren will forever love and miss their amazing and one-of-a-kind Nonna. Her great-granddaughter will cherish knowing how adored she was by her great grandmother and how she always brought a smile to her face.
Services will be held Friday, March 25th at Duggan's Serra Mortuary in Daly City, CA. The viewing begins at 10:00 am with a service following at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Anna's favorite charity, St. Anthony's Dining Room in San Francisco.
