Williston, FL - Benjamin Hammond, 84, died November 30, 2011 in Gainesville, FL.
Those who will cherish and remember his legacy are his children: Benjamin D. Hammonds Jr., Veronica Jones, Sammie Hammonds, John Anthony Hammonds all of Clearwater, FL, Mary Louise Hammonds of Williston, FL and Jacquline Williams of Monroe LA; 2 sisters, Ola Mae Hicks of Williston, FL and Clara Grant of Miami, FL; 3 sister-in-laws, Lizzie Johnson of Williston, FL, Edna Pulilngs of Blitchton, FL and Thelma Davis of Gainesville, FL; one brother-in-law, Ronald Clark, Reddick, FL; 17 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grands.
The Celebration of Life will be held on December 10, 2011 at 11am at Destiny Church of God by Faith, Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Williston, FL. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church from 6pm-7pm.
Services are under the direction of CARNEGIE FUNERAL HOME, 217 SE 4th Ave. Chiefland, FL. You may visit the online condolences at www.carnegiefuneralhome.com .
